NDLS is a unique service offering assessment and support to people with neurodevelopmental conditions at all ages. We are a multi-disciplinary team of expert clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, paediatricians and speech and language therapists, all with many years of experience working with people who have neurodevelopmental conditions. Our services are available internationally to privately funding individuals. We also are proud to have contracts to supply the NHS in various counties with autism and ADHD services for children aged 2-18, as well as to adults Kent-wide.
NDLS offers diagnostic assessments for autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia and intellectual disabilities. A comprehensive, multi-disciplinary team assessment for younger and older people offers the highest standard of assessment. We use the gold standard of screening and assessment questionnaires including the ADOS, DISCO and 3Di for Autism and Connors for ADHD.
NDLS offers support services that include individual and family therapy, medication and speech and language therapy.
NDLS also offers assessments for education and work purposes. This means that a person can be assessed to see how their neurodevelopmental condition might impact on their ability to access their educational or working environment. The team can advise on what types of adjustments might be necessary to facilitate the person’s ability to study or work. This is particularly useful for individuals beginning higher education or going to university as they might qualify for extra funding or equipment.
