Our premises at no. 15-17 New Dover Road incorporate both NHS and private wings of the service. Appointments for children and young people are accessed via a dedicated entrance and are provided in a safe and secure designated area on the first floor of the building.  Adult patients should report to the main reception. Both floors have full disabled access (via a lift for the children and young people service) and toilet facilities.  Our neurorehabilitation service operates from the ground floor which features a gym, kitchen and wet-room facilities.

Reaching Us:

By Car

Travelling from Canterbury town centre, New Dover Road runs from The Odeon cinema roundabout between Upper and Lower Bridge Street. No. 15 is on the left hand side, just beyond the crossroads with Upper Chantry Lane, and immediately after the Premier Inn.

When travelling from the Dover direction along the A2, take the A2050 exit signposted Canterbury. At the roundabout, take the third exit onto New Dover Road. No. 15 is on the right-hand side after approximately three quarters of a mile.

There is onsite parking available to the rear of the building.

Online Therapy at Psicon

Online Therapy at Psicon is delivered via video link and involves the same techniques and therapeutic methods used in our traditional face to face appointments. It offers a secure, non-judgmental, and confidential space to access from the comfort of your home, allowing you to reflect and explore any emotional difficulties with one of our highly trained team.

Although we recognise the thought of working via a screen might feel impersonal, our experience of working remotely is that it has been extremely effective. Online therapy provides clients with a flexible, accessible, and convenient option, breaking down barriers to those who would otherwise struggle to access mental health support. Clinical outcomes remain optimum and a warm, safe, therapeutic relationship can be achieved. Also, some people who struggle to engage with face-to-face therapy may find that it is easier to open up and show vulnerability when they engage with online therapy.

Please contact us if you wish to know more about accessing online therapy at Psicon.
